Inviting Learners to Get a Feel for the People, Places and Discoveries of a Campus
“X Marks the Spot” Tours are a way for scientists at any stage of their career to put a more human face on the place of discovery.
The tours take people to the places on campus where significant discoveries or inventions were made.
These tours can help learners develop their sense of place and of history.
Since the tours include visits to current labs where perhaps today’s milestones are being quarried and honed, the history continues to unfold around us.
